New to Church

We are back in the Church building as normal. However, we are still streaming on Zoom for anyone who is unable to meet in person.

Where are we?

We meet all over Chester and the surrounding areas – Our main Sunday morning gathering is held at Chester City Mission at 10:30am. We would love to see you. We also meet in small groups across Chester, Ellesmere Port, North Wales and Crewe during the week. We have great discipleship groups at the Church building where there is always loads going on.

What to expect on a Sunday morning

Church starts at 10:30

We begin Sunday mornings at 10.30am with praise and worship led by our musicians. However, we want to be led by the Holy Spirit during our worship times and encourage everyone to contribution. At about 11am the young people will go to their groups and someone will give a talk. After the talk, we often make time for people to respond to God. We are always happy to pray for people because we believe God is interested in all aspects of our lives. He wants to heal those who are sick and lift up those who are downcast. We tend to finish at about 12 noon with tea and coffee and a time to chat and encourage one another.

What about my kids?

We love having kids and youth at Freedom Church. On a Sunday morning we run a number of activities for all ages. Unfortunately these are currently closed due to Covid-19.

Crèche

Our crèche for pre-school aged kids is normally supervised and has toys and activities for very young children. It also has a video link to enable parents to watch the main meeting.

Shine on Sunday

They meet every week and usually go out to their own activities following our time of worship. We encourage everyone to worship together before the young people go to their groups at about 11am. There are two age groups: key-stage 1 and key-stage 2. They do a variety of activities including worship, Bible stories, memory verses, prayer and lots of fun!
