New sermon series: Colossians - Christ in all

Christ in all

Paul’s letter to the Colossians was intended to be read to the whole church. After-all, the church is the place where we should expect to have wrong ideas gentle corrected and right ones gentle encouraged. Therefore, as individuals we should test and weigh up everything we hear and align it with word of God, we must remember that christian truth is learned together.

Paul wants the Colossians and us to know that we are complete in Christ and that he is Lord over all. There is but one God and one Lord - Christ Jesus. In this letter Paul appeals for the christian to walk in maturity and grow in their new life is Christ: A life that is renewed by the risen Jesus at home and in the world around us.
