Newday
Newday is one of the largest Christian events for young people that takes place in the UK every year. Thousands of young people aged 12-18 descend on Norfolk Showground to join hundreds of churches from all over the UK and Europe to learn about and worship God, camp out together and soak in the summer festival feeling, leaving Newday further along in their relationship with Jesus.
About Newday:
Newday has two main meetings everyday including worship and teaching. It has multiple seminars throughout the day where you get the opportunity to choose from 5/6 options. Plus there are loads of fun activities available throughout the day. Over the past years they have had climbing walls, amusement park rides, food carts, cafes, sports, live music and much more.
Money:
It is worth every penny but I know it costs a significant amount which is why I strongly suggest you book in before the price goes up at the end of January.
Entrance Tickets:
Early Bird (to 31 January): £125
Advance (01 February - 30 April): £140
Standard (from 01 May): £150
Please note that transport (£40-45 pp. approx) and food (£20 pp approx.) is not included in this price but when known will be payable at the time of the event. We will most likely share a coach with Jubilee Wirral.
There are 3 ways to pay for your ticket:

2. Pay in instalments, a deposit of £20 in January and then pay £15 per month until August. Contact me for more information.

3. Sometimes we have been given money specifically for Newday to enable every young person to go so money does not become a barrier. If you need this help please let me or Keith know. It will of course be confidential.
Newday gives each church the opportunity to bring 3 young people who don’t usually go to church for free. They would only need to pay for transport and food so please tell your children/young people to make use of this by asking their friends.
Adult Serving:
Newday needs adult servers to function. If you would like to come with us there are various teams you can get involved with and you can find out more using the link below. If you choose to serve full time you do not have to pay for a ticket, if you serve part-time you only have to pay half of the ticket price. You will be required to do a DBS through Newday (so yes…that does mean another one and no for some reason the one you have from church is not acceptable).
